Do you use BIDET in your country?

For those who don't know what a bidet is, it's a thing used to wash your butt. I'm from the Philippines, here most that uses it are from well-off families. I don't know why, considering there are cheap kinds of it (like the photo included). So where are you from and do you use it in your country?

It is not just for your butt

I can't relate cause I don't what bidet is, and there seems no picture included in your discussion.
I'm from the middle-class society, I'm a Filipina and like you said the bedit is only used by the upper class citizen.
Sorry I can't add any information about it, but I would surely read on others comment, they might have something valuable to say about this bedit thingy. :)

well there are different kinds, but the one I bought looks like this: it cost 650 php or about $15

If it is something that cannot be absent in the bath, it is not possible to imagine a bath without Bidet. I am from the Argentine and it is something very popular, the great majority of the population has and uses bidet and calls really the attention that they do not know in Europe oh that is considered to be an instrument of luxury.
