Should T-Mac join the Chicago Bulls?

Plan A for the Chicago Bulls didn't work so they went for Plan B. I think they did a nice job picking up (1) Carlos Boozer, (2) Kyle Korver, (3) Ronnie Brewer, (4) C.J. Watson, (5) Omer Asik, and (6) Kurt Thomas as free agent talent in the offseason to go along with their core of (1) Derrick Rose, (2) Joakim Noah, (3) Luol Deng, (4) Taj Gibson, and (5) James Johnson. It's a diverse collection of talent where folks have their respective roles. They have a nice squad that can make some noise in the upcoming season. The question is if Tracy McGrady joined the team would he ruin it or help them move up the ladder?

I think T-Mac in the Bulls line-up will actually do good in favor of the Bulls moving up the ladder. T-Mac can still score even though he doesn't take over games that much anymore as he did before. But its okay because Derrick Rose and and scorers such as Luol Deng can help him with that. They just need to sign him in so that they can't start gelling in and building a playoff contending team.

Do you think that T-Mac will want to start over Ronnie Brewer for the shooting guard slot? If he signs a cheap contract, he may want to prove that he's still got some game left?

I absolutely think that T-Mac will be on the starting position rather than Ronnie Brewer in most games of the season if he continues to be healthy. Ronnie Brewer was in the starting position for the Utah Jazz last season because there were no other guys who could step up for the injured Kirilenko, Okur other than him. Regardless of if he signs a cheap contract, T-Mac still got game. Let's just give him a benefit of a doubt. Go T-Mac .

I heard that T-Mac is less than 50% of his prime without the athletic mobility and skills. His ego though is 100% in tact. He believes that he's miles ahead of the New York Knicks days but if he was...why wouldn't the Knicks be entertaining him? He believes that he, Boozer, and Rose will be able to combat the Miami Me-egos. I like T-Mac but I don't think his ego can take a back seat to the team needs.

T-Mac can still play but his injuries slowed him over the years. If he can play with that basketball passion and positive attitude, I think that T-Mac can help the Bulls. And also, if he lowers his guard of being not a superstar and the best player of the team anymore, a positive response from his teammates can be a result for this. T-Mac is not the T-Mac in his early years.

I don't know if you've heard T-Mac's comments after the workout. He exhibited the Superstar complex. He didn't seem like that he's ready to accept a role on the bench. He express the intent to be in the starting lineup but sources are claiming that he doesn't show good lateral movement nor lift in the air. I think the Bulls are moving to another target.
