I just browse the article about Indian reveals its cheap tablet PC for only $35. Can you believe how cheap that is? I would definitely get one myself if it is reliable in a long run. I would like to have one extra tablet PC for website browsing and all. I just couldn't imagine how they going to make profit like that. Materials and labor.

I think it's not real, It's just a kind of PR :).
This is not the first times India "Produce" a cheap PC. Think about Shaksat, and Simputer of India.
I dont belive in this.

My guess would be that that computer is cheap in more than one way, and you're really doing no one any good by supporting slave labor.

They DO make profit. Don't bother about huge companies. In not so far future, computers will be as big as one cell phone, so It is not a big deal.
