Welcome Joe Cole!!!

After losing one of his best midfielder, Yossi Benayoun who move to Chelsea with £5m transfer fee, Liverpool strengthen their team by signing craetive midfielder Joe Cole on a free transfer. For me, as a Liverpool big fans, its a great news. i think joe cole is a perfect signing for Liverpool. i think, losing Yossi Benayoun but getting Joey Cole and a few million quid is certainly an upgrade, Hodgson and Purslow have done well! how do u think?

This is a great coup by the Liverpool given the fact that it is a Bosman case. However I still keep my reservation for the owners and management team as they has not been performing as they are suppose to be especially the yanks, which contributed to the major causes of the current Liverpool's financial situation.

yeah, he is a good second striker guys he has a speed, dribbling, skills, and ability. i think liverpool would be so strong now. have a nice day.

There were two reasons why Joe Cole turned out to be a good signing. First, he is a good midfielder who has been playing in the EPL, so can hit the ground running. Secondly, he did not cost them anything on the market, though his wages are huge. It would be interesting to see if the transfer budget given to Hodgson includes Wages also like Rafa found out last year!! Cheers! Ram
