Lasith Malinga to miss second Test ........India have a fair chance to win

NO MALINGA NO MURALI for the second test against India.
So India will have more chance to win the match .
The Srilankan key bowler Malinga has been rested due to stiffness in his knee.
He will be replaced by Dilhara Fernando.
Malinga bowled beautifully in the first test and he was named man of the match.
So srilanka will surely miss him .
Also No murali for second test.
So its good news for India.........

He was rested to avoid serious injury.
He is now suffering from Stiffness in knee

Not really a good news Fernando is also a good bowler comparable to Malinga... The even bad news is that the arrival of Mendis as full fledged spinner in the team replacing Murali. Mendis, with his carrom ball is sure to wrap up the tailenders more quickly.

The double M factor missing from the Sri Lankan attack is great news for India. Indians really found that they could not cope with Murali and Malinga in the first test. Now that both are out, they now have a good chance, but the problem with India is their bowling. Also it would be interesting how Indians play against Mendis after their poor showing in the tour game.

Hi ramaswamy,
Would it be worthwhile a win sans the key bowlers in the opposite camp if at all India wins in the flowing Test?
Does not it equate that India can not perform well in the presence of good and quality bowlers like Murali and Lasith? And is not a shame for a number 1 Test team in in the world?
It would be rather better they stopped playing Test and concentrate on T20 or gully cricket.

Its Not A fair Chance,Its Just an Eye wash for the Public In Large, In the First Test They wanted Murlai to Compelete His 800 wickets record and Now its sachins and other Indian Players To reach their records, Nothing More Than that.
