how do you expect our economy to run at this point that we have new president? Will it improve? but when stock market improves the result of this is lesser exchange rate of dollars to peso and we online users earn from this dollars. Do you still want our economy to rise or just the other way around so there's a higher exchange rate for peso. :)

the health of an economy is not measured by its exchange rate with major currencies. the exchange may go up and down, and yet the economy of a country is doing very well. it is only an indicator. what determines the value of money is on its purchasing power. and what eats up this purchasing power of a currency is the inflation rate. of course as online earner, i want the dollar to go up against the peso, but this has negative impact on the purchasing power of the peso. oh my, i am not an economist. what have i been saying here. lol

@Mensab .. . You are saying correctly that online earners, who are also dollar earners, like to the idea when the dollar to peso exchange is much higher and the reason is obvious. ...

Peso dropped a bit since Noynoy was elected president. And to tell you the truth, I expect it to drop more every month. Maybe we should do Forex, lol. I think it's more important for our Peso to rise, even though those who earn dollars will be affected. As long as the prices of our daily needs will also drop.

It may be sad for me when the dollar peso exchange drops because the dollar that I receive has less peso equivalence. However, for the Philippines, it is a very good indication that the country's economy is getting better when the dollar drops. in so doing, we have no other choice but to accept the fact that the drop in dollar exchange is very beneficial to our country.

I guess this is the rise of our peso bill. not bad but since it will be our rise. The value of foods and other filipino products should decrease. It is risky to try forex BUT we will never know in a long run. Can you also visit my discussion mutual fund philippines? Dollar earners definitely want higher exchange rate because we could buy more. But look at it this way, when you buy Philippine, you are already helping the economy. There is no point being guilty for wanting to make the most out of your hard earned money. The stock market is dictated by its participators. They should be the guilty party.
