As per a new survey by statistics tracker StatCounter, Google Chrome has eaten into the market share of IE in India. IE's market share went down from 58.5% to 47.7% while Chrome moved from 6.7% to 16.6% while Firefox retained it's 30 odd percent market share. Cheers! Ram

Luongdiennhan, In general IE is more stable than Chrome, but sometimes it can crash. Security wise IE is more porous than most other web browsers. That is why I prefer another browser which gives speed and security. I do not believe that it is the beginning of the end for IE. Microsoft has the habit of purchasing a rival when they cannot win a competition.

Yes, IE does seem more stable than Chrome and Firefox when it comes to some sites like the payment sites. But overall I feel Chrome and Firefox are more secure and hence keep you system more stable. Cheers! Ram

I'm not surprised myself. IE has been bad mouthed left and right, most MS products are. Firefox has a loyal following and now that they have the new personas they were able to hang on to them.

Yes, one of the findings of the survey was that Firefox was stable with around 30% users using it, so it does seem to have loyal support. Cheers! Ram

Personally I do not think that IE has been bad mouthed left and right. The opinions given by users should be respected, especially if they have been an IE user for a long time. Saying things as they are does not mean IE is being bad mouthed or slandered. At least the IE developers are making changes in response to at least several criticisms.

I am not surprised. I prefer Chrome to IE. Some survey sites do not support Chrome. One site even recommend that I lower my security settings to access their surveys. Yeah right, of course I will!
