My computer won't start!!!

Okay, techies, heads up! I really need help. This morning, I tried downloading a couple of games. I'm a sucker for word games (Text Twist and the like) and I downloaded some in a couple of sites. While waiting, I decided to take a nap. My dad happened to use the computer while I dozed off. He was just surprised when a lot of Firefox windows popped out, and a lot of Firefox icons were on the desktop. And to make things worse, it shut down on its own. Whenever we tried to boot it up again, it just restarts and restarts. We tried letting it run on safe mode, but it still won't. HELP!! How do I fix the computer??

It also sounds like you need a new anti-virus program to help protect your computer so after you fix it make sure to download Avast its a good anti-virus program that is free and updates every day with out you having to do any thing.Just go here and download the free version and you can upgrade later if you like the program http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download

Try plugging it in. People often forget that computers need power to run. That is the most common error. Hope this helped!

Oh well I'm not much of a computer fixer, but maybe you should do system restore so that your computer could be like brand new again what stinks about that is that you lose all your files, but hey it's worth it. Still this is why I always have an anti virus thing so that I won't get none of that and I haven't. I wish the best of luck on this because I know how annoying it is when a computer acts up I just get frustrated with good luck.

above all response are mostly enough to get your solution.. as there may be chance of attack of virus on your system. but other problem may be that your system hard disk may get some reading error or other hardware error which cause restart to your system. you can do one thing that as soon as your system starts start disk check up if you get chance or you can check it using windows CD/DVD.. boot using that CD and open command prompt and use CHKDSK to check the disk errors.. also use "Last Best Configuration" instead of safe mode.. Good Luck..
