Heroes Cancelled!

I have been busy lately and haven't really gotten the chance to catch with the latest news about heroes. I was shocked to find out that it is now cancelled. The announcement was made on May but I just found out now. What's up with that? It is such a pity. It is true that the last season was a very big disappointment but why cancel it? Smallville went through a stage it became completely boring but now has become interesting again why not give heroes a chance? Heroes is the 4th series that I follow and got cancelled. There was Jericho, Kyle XY and Flashforward. What are your thoughts?

I agree with you, the 4th season was a despointemnet but i think one more season could be made before decide to cancel it. The strange thing is that the season does not has a end, it was suddenly canceled and the producers got no time to prepare a end to the series.
I read on net, that there is a possibility to make 2 TV moveis or a small serie (with 10 -12 episodes) to give Heroes a end, let's wait to see if it will happen.

Last season was a real disappointment. the story line for that volume was weak. They had no real purpose.No real threat. No real strong enemy. And the build for Samuel's power was not worth it. In the end Samuel turn out to be not that strong. I do hope that they do at least a few more episode or movies. Just to wrap things up. I really enjoyed watching the first three seasons. It just went downhill during the 4th season. Thanks for the response

Yeah, its such a shame :( its been going down hill ever since season 2 though when they had the winters strike so the season had to end early.
There was talk about doing a movie of some sort for heroes jsut to tie up all the lose ends. so hopefully this will happen

I think they ran out of good stories and the ratings got too low. I know lost interest in the show the last season. Jericho was a show that should have kept going. I would have liked to have known who really started the war? And the and seemed a bit too easy.
