What do you do with forwarded emails that says forward it to 5 or 10 more people else something will happen? I get really frustrated by such emails and junk them and keep thinking who are the gullible people who keep forwarding these again and again!!
What is your approach to such mails?
Cheers!
Ram

I hate mails like this. When I see the title of such a mail, I even don't open it. I always delete these letters. And I don't believe in words which say that will happen this or that!

No, because lot of them are sent from my friends, which can send some normal letters too, so if I would mark them as spam, then I wouldn't get any letters from them.

Hello ram,
Just this morning I received a text message from one of my friends asking that to forward to 210 people and to wait for the instant miracle. And instantly I deleted the message. Likewise I do get similar mails through INTERNET but have not got any guarantee that re forwarding the mail I would get some benefits.
If I see that interesting I d forward to some of my friends who I know would be delighted to read the content, nothing of any seriousness though.

Dependint on the subject, I generally forward them. I mostly know who is sending them to me, so it's OK.

I get a lot of those types of e-mails, especially from my one friend. If I like the content, I might forward it but not because I believe something bad will happen if I don't. I only have 3 peoples e-mail address, and they are usually from one of them, so I couldn't forward it to five people if I wanted to.

Yes, but what happens is if you forward the mail and the receiver then goes on to forward to 5 people, you have inadvertedly added to the chain. I would suggest, remove the portions that ask you to forward it to so many people and then forward these mails. That way that person does not forward it to another 5 people and so on.
Cheers!

I delete them. I especially hate the ones that say if you forward this to 10 or 15 friends you will see something amazing or that Bill Gates will send you a check for a couple of grand. With those I usually hit "reply" and ask the sender if it worked. It never does.

I got one of those about three days ago. It was very annoying and pointless. I can't figure out who puts them out and why. I just deleted it. Luckily I don't get very many of them. Most of my friends don't send those kinds of chain letters.

I don't think I hate anything more than that when people forward mails or sms to me with a saying that if you do this this will happen to you and blah blah blah............
And my response to these things is always like ignoring them and deleting them, sending them to junk folder! I just can't bear such things! After all you live in a world of science where everything happens with a logic! And what's the logic behind these emails!

I totally ignore these. In fact, I totally ignore almost all forwards I get, unless I REALLY think they are interesting enough, and then I send them to a couple people who I think may enjoy them. It seems like I have't been getting forwards lately (mainly I just get spam). Haha.

Junking them is the best policy. The first person who receives them shouldn't forward them to others. Previously i was receiving mails like if you forward the mail to 5 members the money shall go to some cause,i don't know if the money reaches the needy but i used to forward such mails to my friends. Now i don't even look at the mails which say forward to 5 or more people.
