what do you do when you feel stressed out or got problems?

Sometimes in our everyday lives we are stressed by our work, financial and emotional problems. And when I'm starting to feel this way, I listened to my favorite music. Suddenly I started to mellow and feel the soothing calmness in my soul. I find peace from within, it's really a natural remedy aside from meditation. I always do listen to music before going to bed or listening to it not knowing I have fallen deep asleep :)

when i feel stressed, i just call something to talk to and talking something funny thoughts...but when there is no one friends available... i just stay in my room and eats mr. chips and ice cream while listening to my favorite songs... and when i got problems i just solve it on my own little ways and try not to seek for help...

aaahhhmmmm. Are you a guy or a girl? In most cases guys are being secretive and girls tend to speak out their problems to their closest friend... That's why sometimes we go out and we went to the bar to dance and listen to music while drinking... cheers!!!

I also turn to music when I am stressed or when I have problems. Like you, it helps soothe my soul and relax me. It is one of my favorite ways of destressing. I also sometimes listen to my Ipod even when I am already in bed off to sleep. Listening to music in bed helps me sleep soundly too.

You're right! Stressed by work and financial aspects! Sometimes I do listen to old music and If I'm stressed out, I call or text my friends to just stay with me for a while. We go out, go to coffee shop and talk about the matters happening to us!

When I get stressed I try to talk to my bf (which is also my best friend) or one of my sisters about it. And if I can't do that, I listen to music or walk around to calm me down and if it is too much for me I have a good cry and I feel a lot better afterwards. Walking around with stress building is not a good feeling to have so just letting it go somehow takes the weight off my shoulders and I find I can work with it a lot better.

sometimes i also do the same thing. I cry my feelings out until i feel a lot better. Thanks that we have our best friends who can understand what we feel and help us to lighten our burdens.

As a therapist, I see many clients who suffer from stress. I explain to them that stress is a part of life and is to be managed, and not eliminated. One of the best ways to manage stress if by regular daily meditation, but listening to music can do this also. Before I became a therapist, I was a professional musician, and find it quite relaxing to go and sit at my piano and play.. _Derek

Hi,
For sure, I will feel stressful sometimes.
what will I do when I get stress?
Listen to music,watch TV and sleep is the best.
I will get mooody when my stress level is Up.
I prefer to keep quiet when I get stress up.
Since I have a kid, my stress level is up.especially when
my son get fussy, I feel so stress up and feel like scolding
him.
Working in the office also stress,but taking care of kid
is even more stressful.

I do a lot of things if i am stressed out. Normally, i listen to music. I watch something that is funny, on tv or on the internet. I do talk to my parents which is quite relaxing in many ways.

I get stressed out a lot when taking care of my kids, because they're ages 3,2, and 7mos old. When that happens, I just tune it out for a minute. Even a few seconds will do. since I can't get out and I can't leave em to do what it is I want to do. I just zone out, but just for a few seconds, mind you. Then when I do get some time to rest, I try to relax. Take a hot shower, lie down and listen to soothing music.

Hello Czanwell_30. I like to listen to music too but not only when I'm stressed, I usually have music on in the background when I'm at home. Apart from de stressing me it wakes me up and lifts my mood, I couldn't live without music. I find a nice long walk in the fresh air is a good way to relieve stress too :)

hi! when I am stressed by my work or I get trouble with some terrible things in my life... I usually play guitar and sing some of my favorite songs with it. I think singing and playing musical instrument can help me heal my soul. Sometimes I listen to hard rock music to solve this problem :)

i make sure i'm alone. if not, i make sure i'm with someone that can surely make me smile or laugh. i don't turn myself into eating whatever i see or go out and shop. i just listen to some music, lie down or sit somewhere i can think. somewhere i can't see much people. i try to get sleep without an alarm then manage to smile after.

be silent and do the stuff that may let the source of the stress gone by itself.
avoiding myself from talking with others regarding the stress matters to avoid being blown up.
and most of the time, I just gone to sleep.

When I'm stressed I normally just listen to music. I turn it on loud so that I can't hear anything else but it.
I love sleeping with music aswell, it helps my fear and stress to go away and obviouslly helps my body to relax.
