Nasty OLD Cancer

Many of u may recall that i had a good friend w/brain cancer.I had ask for prayer for her & written some discussions about her. About 2 weeks ago she lost her battle w/the horrible disease.She wasn't but 54 years old & had been my friend for years. I have been very sad about this & really couldn't write about it till now. Rest in peace, my friend Diane.
now my neighbor next door has it. he found out yesterday he is already in stage 3. I'm asking now for prayers for him. His name is Gary burns & hope y'all can find it in your hearts to pray for him. thank u.Do u know anyone that has cancer. I know there's probably noone on here that doesn't know someone that either has it or has lost their battle w/it. How about it?

Hi AANTIQUELADY, I am so sorry to hear that your friend Diane
passed away. And now to find out that another of your friend's
is also ill. I will also pray for Gary. This disease is awful.
I wish God would help to speed up the cure for this so that more
people wouldn't have to suffer. I know that your friend Diane
is resting peacefully now. And I will pray for Gary that he
doesn't suffer and stays strong. God Bless.

Hi Anti.. I am sorry to hear this about your neighbor and I am praying for him. I remember you posting about your friend Dianne, may she Rest In Peace. Yes I know of someone that has cancer, he is my cousin, he found out about this a year ago. When they found it they said he was in stage 4 and they didn't recommend surgery on him. He has had chemo, and as I speak he is doing wonderful. You can't even tell he has it. My only problem with him is he doesn't give God any of his time or consideration. I have been praying for him and his wife. Only he can change his heart and ways. I am praying daily for him.

Where have u been lady, i haven't heard from in forever. I'm so glad to see u on here & thanks for responding. Thanks for praying for Gary. Feel as if he's going to need alot of prayers. I am so glad to hear your cousin is doing so well. He has been blessed whether he knows it or not. He better wake up & smell the roses to that fact. Hope u are doing o.k. let me hear from u more often like i use to. Take care & God bless u.

I am doing great, I don't get on MyLot that much anymore. Trying to find an outside source to make an income. I still have another year to go before I can draw my SS at 62, my unemployment benefits has run it's course. I am trusting and believing in God to provide for me. You know how it is when things are going on in your life you just can't concentrate on certain things and responding to discussions on MyLot is one of them. I am blessed and highly favored and things are going good. I pray they are for you too. I can communicate with you through email if you will send me yours. You are a ray of sunshine for all of us. Thanks for responding, Rob. Cancer is a horrible thing. There is so much of it here & guess there is everywhere but doesn't seem like a week goes by w/out hearing someone new has it. Hope all is well w/u.

My prayer group will be meeting tonight and I will add Gary's name. I am so sorry about your neighbour. It is a horrible disease and I always pray that I do not get a cancer. I would prefer to go with a heart attack as I do not do pain well at all. she was so young, God bless her. I am thinking of you JO.

Oh yes Jo...most of the most important people in my life have become a victem of that disease. The problem eith it is that no matter how goos someone takes care of themselves..well...it always seems to sneak in someway. That's a tough battle too. You have my prayers and also a special one for a cure one day soon.

I am so very sorry to hear about your friend :( Yes I am sure almost everyone has lost someone close or they love to cancer, I have lost friends and my dad to the evil C word. That was my toughest battle with it, It has been 5 yrs now and it still feels like yesterday. I recently lost my best friend so I know the pain you are going through on that front as well. She did not lose her battle to cancer, she actually beat ovarian cancer and was in remission, and lost her battle to congestive heart failure. But I feel your pain and send you giant hugs, and Gods strength and comfort.

I'm very sorry to hear that your friend Diane passed away. 54 is a very young age to leave this earth. Gary Burns will be added to my thoughts and prayers. I don't know much about the stages of cancer. I will also pray for Gary's family, during this hard and trying time. People shouldn't suffer, we were never brought into this world to suffer to our last breathe. It's like a cruel joke in my opinion.
My dad and grandmother had skin cancer. They are in remission, thank the Lord. My dad, actually had it twice. With him going to the doctor nearly all the time. The doctors caught it fast, with a lot of removing, they got it all. He has had it on his right side and his face. My grandmother has had it on her leg.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your friend Diane and your neighbours’ diagnosis. I will be glad to send some prayers Gary’s way. Cancer is the worst thing, I lost my dear mother in law to this horrible disease and I can relate to the pain it causes. My mother in law dealt with her situation with so much courage and dignity, a person’s true character comes through during times like these. I will keep Gary in my thought and pray for him. I am so sorry...

I have lost family members plus a close co-worker to cancer. She was only 42. It is so horrible for the person dealing with it and the family. I will definitely pray for Gary. So sorry about Diane passing away. She was so young. May her soul rest in peace.
