Krogers? You must live in the tri-state of Ohio or Indiana? Krogers and Walmart of the main places we go too, and occasionally K-mart..

I do live in the United States and I do most of my grocery shopping at WalMart and Kroger. I have recently started shopping at other places too. I went and bought my produce from our local farmer's market last weekend and I also shopped at a store called Good Foods that sells all organic and healthier foods. I am trying to eat better. I try not to cook as much from boxed meals that are highly processed and have ingredients in them that I have no idea what they are.
I find on most household and grocerys though that WalMart has the best prices overall. Just one example is, my husband and son like to drink V-8 Splash. At Kroger yesterday, I saw it on SALE for $3.08. At WalMart their everyday price for the same thing is $1.98. So, for things like that I definitely buy at WalMart.

The cheapest place to buy groceries is Wal-Mart. However, I do shop at Kroger too because they have good specials and they will double my coupons. Usually when I grocery shop it includes both places. I also like to buy meats from Food Lion.

Where we shop depends on where the deals are, and what the regular prices are for somethings. We get our bread at Aldi because it seems like it's the cheapest place to get white bread. Other than that, the major stores are Kroger, Meijer and Wal-Mart. There's also a Great Scot in our area also. However, on occassion, we have gone to Sam's Club or Gordan Food Service to get some our bigger bulk items.

I shop at Walmart for Groceries. They have great prices and there is two localed close to my 2 two jobs. Walmart is so much better localed for me then other grocery stories! That is why I go to Walmart! When it comes to milk and oj I go to the nearest Kwik Trip because they have real cheap prices on those two items!

I usually do 99 percent of my food shopping at walmart. You get really good deals there. I will go to Albertsons or Smiths when they have 10 for 10 deals or buy one get one free. Its great when you can get alot more food for your money. Now adays we all have to look for good deals to stretch the money.

Normally I live outside of the United States but when I visit my mother we like to do our shopping at Smith's which is right by her place and has a good selection. I don't think there prices are bad. We also do some shopping at Albertson's, Target, even some things at Walmart, but the Walmart closest to my mom's place does not have a very good food selection.

It really all depends on the sales. I like to coupon and I normally can get more for my money at somewhere like Harris Teeter, where they double coupons every day and sometimes do super double or even triple coupons. I like Wal-Mart better than Target though for food items because they always seem to rollback prices and Target and other stores can't really compete with them.

I shop at HEB primarily because they usually have in store coupon deals. Like if you buy one item, you get four other things free. I only do this if one of the itmes was something I was going to buy anyway though. If not, I would get sucked into buying things I didn't go in for which I am sure is the point of it all. They also have a good organic selection that has more of a reasonable price than the health food stores like Whole Foods. I only hit Whole Foods if I have just had a really good payday at some point. Target, has an unique selection...like squid ink pasta. Yes, I had to buy it just once for the novelty and their chocolate chip ice cream (store brand) is the best ever. :)

I buy most of my things at Walmart; but, even though they have low prices on a lot things, other stores have better sales and many times they carry items WalMart does not carry. So, depending on what I need and what sales are going on, I also shop at Albertson's, Basha's, Food City, and Safeway, as needed.
Sometimes Albertson's will actually have "buy one, get 3 free" - not very often, but, it is great when they do! They also have one day a month when people over 55 get 10% off their total purchase and one day a month when people with military ID cards get 10% off everything. Plus special holidays - like the 4th of July, Veteran's Day, etc.; when they also do the 10% off for military ID card holders.

My favorite store is a chain called Grocery Outlet which started as Canned Foods in San Francisco in 1970. I have gotten cookware and furniture there for pennies on the dollar in addition to tools, cleaning supplies, and of course FOOD. You cannot expect to find everything in stock there, because the reason they sell food so cheap is they get it in bulk from other stores that close out or have fire or water damage or whatever. Other favorites include a dollar store called 99 cents only, which sometimes sells Dulcinea watermelons for 50 cents or Breyers half gallon ice cream for 99 cents. Then there is employee-owned Winco which is amazing. I like Safeway and Krogers, too, but only for their specials, and as you say, sometimes Target.
Next after Grocery Outlet, I do also like Walmart and Sam's Club. Costco is nice, but not close by.

I use to exclusively shop at Giant. However I have a really nice Wal-Mart near my house now and they really do have the best prices. Every once in awhile I like to go to Wegman's but budget wise not too often.
