Am I Missing Something?

I am new to MYLOT. I checked out the writing task. The people are rewarding anywhere from 0.10 to 0.24 to write researched 500 word articles.
Have you accepted any of the writing task? Why is the reward so low?

Well I am glad that I read this because today is my first day as well and I am very confused on what really earns money and how much. I have been just been responding to post but I would like to know more about that myself. My Lot seems to be fun, this is what I use to do for free anyway, so it would be great if anybody could add some light please.
