I just got a pack of cottage cheese. I am browsing to see the different ways of eating cottage cheese. I heard it tastes good with potatoes, black pepper, and salt. I'm going to try it out. Do you like cottage cheese? What is your favorite/easy cottage cheese recipe?

My wife makes a curry of cottage cheese with tomatoes and peas.It is a regular Indian curry. The tomatoes are made into a puree and peas are added to it.They are then cooked with the regular spices that go into an Indian curry.

I would like to try that sometime. I have a big pack of cottage cheese. What type of peas? Do you mean green peas? I have some dry green peas at home. If I need to cook it, I need to soak it in water over night so that it will be ready in the morning for cooking. What do you mean regular spices? Will garam masala work? or just chilli powder, turmeric, corriander powder, etc?

I saw while browsing for cottage cheese recipes that people have it on their toasts with fresh fruits. I will try that too. But, my husband says cream cheese tastes better when it comes to toasts instead of cottage cheese. But, I am excited to give a try with cottage cheese on toast. Do you think I need to add a little bit jelly or jam with cottage cheese on toast?

Thank you. I am excited for it. Usually I have toast with little butter and grape jam, which is my favorite. I am very excited to try out the new topping of my toast. It is going to be my breakfast today. I am getting ready to go to church now as today is Sunday. I can't wait till the church is over to try the new toast. Have a good day.

When I get me a home-grown tomato, I slice it, put it on a plate and put some cottage cheese on it. Delicious!!

Thank you for encouraging me. I am very excited to try my pack of cottage cheese and I can't wait. I don't know if I can get home-grown tomato or not. I get tomatoes from the nearby grocery store. There are various kinds of tomatoes. I don't know if I will be able to identify the home-grown ones. But, I will make an effort to get home-grown tomatoes. Thanks agian.
