Water Shortage

Here in Manila, we are experiencing water shortage. It seems that even though it's raining already, it's not enough to fill in our dams. This dams are our source of water everyday. Not only water, but also electricity. But I guess there is a solution to all this. Why not convert our sea water to a drinking water. I saw it once in a TV that they put up a floating water purification in the seas. This became their number one source of drinking water. If other countries can do this, there's no doubt that we can do it also.
