The sun is wonderfully out now here where I live. The past week or two has been nightmarish for all of us here in Singapore. The rain has been fuming mad and several trees have been uprooted and have caused at least two deaths as they landed on a passing car and a public bus. Tremors from the northern coast of Sumatra, Indonesia were felt in some parts of our country. I'm not here to compare them with one of the worst earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons and other natural disasters that are happening around the world. It saddens me as much to know of even one death and the plight of millions in this never-ending human drama.
You don't have to response as this is not a discussion. It's just a platform to say how much I thank GOD, the Almighty for this day!

Thank GOD not only for today but for days passed and the days to come. sometimes, we become complacent and forget that there is a God. Thank you for all the blessings You have given me and my family. I'm sorry too for being ungrateful at times.

That is so true, everyday we think that we do have to thank God for everything, for keeping us safe and away from disasters and accidents. Today, again is yet another day for Thanking God indeed. We had heavy rains that seemed like a strong storm... and im glad that it is now done, and it is now not raining so badly.

Fair enough if you just wanted to share how you were feeling for the day but I must say....If God created this wonderful day for you ( I am gathering this because you are thanking him ) then he obviously created the Earthquakes and all the other disasters right?
Have to say that because I am an atheist.
