"Don't Miss the Opportunity"

My dean in my current school told me that.
I met different kinds of people who were already high paid-professionals but retired in their work in order to take up CISCO CCNA, to open up more opportunities for them. They are risking too much but they think they can gain more in this kind of way.
I was told this too: "No sacrifice, no gain".
I took a year to think about it. And more people come into the dean's office--where I stay during my free time to help around-- in order to just take it up. I talked to some of them and told me to just enroll. Compared to the price outside of the school (Php 40,000) to (Php 3,000) we are more lucky and have no reason to not take up this course. "It was very tempting and I gave in," each and everyone of them said the same thing. I paused for a while and thought, "I want more opportunities for me. I don't want myself to be only limited to a certain field." And now I am taking up CISCO CCNA.
I want to be a person that can do everything to help my family. Money is still needed right now in my family, of course, considering the financial crisis we all have. But I thought of this as a good investment to start my future with. I want to have the advantage of making my own path to my success and this is the path that I build for myself.
How about you, what paths did you take? Did you take up risks? Did you ever regret it?

In my life i had got many golden opportunity but i miss it, thinking that it is not that much important in my life now i am regret and realize it. now i have lend up here without having any job, i always depend on my parents, i had never and ever earn money by myself, all time i am thinking that when i will be going to help my parents. To be a great person in this beautiful mother land we should do something that can lead our life smoothly. So think twice before you do the work.

That's very cool!
I like programming-software engineering too as well as multimedia. However, I need to focus on them one at a time in order to have more deeper knowledge about them. Schools today tend to generalize them that students later on wouldn't know what field they are anymore.

CISCO CCNA (Career Certified Network Associate) are took up by people who specializes in computers, especially in networking and stuff. CISCO certification is very important for these people to be able to work to other countries without any much of a hitch. Those who I talked to told me that once you have CISCO certification, big companies would want you in. "You'll have higher salary and position as well as many more opportunities would open up for you." were their exact words.

Hi Sinful,
I also took CCNA and it really did help me. 3 years ago when I was not yet a cisco certified guy, I was working with a good position but with a not so good salary. During that time, one of my colleague advised my to take up CCNA. Now, I'm working with a new company with a lower position but with a bigger salary. I didn't regret taking up CCNA. Good Luck!

I wish I could become a helpful person! But sorry to say that when I get opportunity I cannot fully utilize it! I regret for that sometimes! I should get engaged to help others to reach their targets in whatever way unless it is illegal and make them happy. We have earned many advices in your childhood days to help each others and also ask if you need!

there are still more opportunities to come. you've learned from it so never miss a good opportunity again. i, too had missed some but it was for a better reason. I had to prioritize someone i love -sibling, so i intended to forget my dream for a while.

When I am in the school there was the offer to do computer if we were interested but I refuse to take it because thought that if I do later on it's OK.Later on I re great a lot that that I have payed money and I did for.If we take opportunities at one it always benefited to us.

As a saying goes "Nothing is more expensive than a miss opportunity",Likewise in my life I have also missed a lot of opportunity thinking that it is not important. Now I am really getting regret for my action,if I have grab that opportunity and utilized in better way then I might be enjoying phosphorous life rather then life now I am living.
