hi guys... starting your own company is dream for many... very few can make it and few in few can be consistent...here in india there are lot of small companies those get projects from different clients... well i have a lot of interest in web devoloping especially after seeing huge no of projects in sites like freelance.com elance.com etc....keeping in this in my mind to get maximum money from internet by working as freelancer in web developing i joined an institute to learn php course institute is great and i acquired a great knowledge and i am in position to build website of my own even before i completed my course.......from past 2 to 3 weeks an idea is repeatedly striking in my mind making mad.... That is to start a WEB DEVELOPING company.
the most important thing that differs in starting a company and working as a freelancer is continuous flow of projects....
to work as a freelancer it would be enough even we get a 1 or 2 small projects every month but thats not the case with maintaining a company.... salaries, rent, tax etc are unavoidable.....for this we need to have 4 or 5 big clients who outsource you a good number projects.... AND HERE COMES THE PROBLEM..... I dont know where to get the clients. SOMEONE please help me or at least leave some clue where to get the clients....Impressing the clients is my job and the help i need is i have no idea of this matter. i am stopping at this point and dont know how to proceed.....
There are chances your help may give rise to wonderful company.
Thank you.
Kiran

Hi Kiran. The first step in building your client base is to find them.To as you already surveyed, register in those freelance sites.Secondly you need a portfolio for your client to understand your capabilities. So,make a website and host it (This would not cost you much - May be Rs.5000 at max.).I am sure once you find a client and you deliver results to their satisfaction on their project. You can expect more projects from the client and others too.Build up the client base and get their recommendations.Once you reach a certain stage where there is a steady stream of projects, you can build up a company, recruit people, rent or buy a place. But I must say you should be patient and ready to take set backs in your stride - Work hard and most importantly enjoy every moment of your work.Hope this helps you.Good Luck.
