what is after death - God or nothing ???

hello friends, I am always confuse what is after death ?? every religion says we will go in heaven or hell according to our works but every religion have a separate ideology so every one will go in different heaven or hell according to his religion or its just a believe ?? or may be nothing like this, we all are a part of universe and nothing will happen after death as Science says. Is Death end of life ?? or just starting of a new beautiful world ? i cant understand who is right our religious ideology or science ??
