Last week was really my hell week @_@ But I guess I'll still have other stressful weeks since it is just the beginning. I am not really complaining about it but I am just wondering if I would go on like this forever. Haha. Well, I still have to do my best to fight stress.. And I better get ready with this week too! But I'll see to it that I'll still have time to myLot. HAHA. So.. how do you deal with stress? Any tips? :)

Hello stress is certainly a part of our life, inspite of every thing i too get stressed at times, may be difference of opinion with my wife, kids, officemate etc, if so i just try to keep cool, drive to the temple on the hilltop 10kms away, sit there in a corner and pray
Some times i just keep quiet and shower in my bath room or swim in the river..
This is my way of dealing stress..
Thanks for sharing.
Welcome always.
Cheers.

I have tried to build in ideas to cope, here are some.
1. Sing a song of thankfulness or silliness to myself (when in a crowd), or out loud (when I'm alone).
2. Close my eyes (if I'm not driving, etc.) and pretend that I am on a beach in a warm place with just the sound of the waves slapping steadily at the shore.
3. Have a list of good things that have happened to me or people that help me to feel joyful by just knowing them or listening to a story or thinking of their smiling face. Bringing these things to mind when other crap is rolling toward me.
4. Centering on the fact that what is stressing me out is temporary and I choose not to allow it into my thoughts.
5. I like to find good Bible scriptures that say the exact opposite of what I was ever taught and let those roll around in my mind - like that God wants us to prosper and be in good health even as our soul prospers. Then I ask God to give me a well prospered soul and ask Him to show me what that means.
It mostly comes down to my thoughts and expectations. I have great expectations but do not put that on people around me. In other words I do not expect others to make me happy.

Hi there sysdexlicwriter, thank you so much for the tips :) I think being optimistic all the time really helps, so even singing silly tunes makes me comfortable. And of course with the help of God, problems would be nothing, right? Let's just enjoy life more. So thanks again for responding :) Have a great day :)

There is no need to panic, offlimits. There is always a way if you try not to lose your cool. From personal experience, I suggest you try brainwave entrainment audios designed for stress reduction or relaxation. These audios have special frequencies embedded in them that directly change the frequency of your brainwaves and you feel relaxed within half hour. Regular listening have many other benefits. You can read more about this safe and simple technology at this hub:

sleep and eat. that's how i fight stress.
this week is the "stress week" for me. unfortunately, because of being so busy and my both hands being so full, i can't sleep much and eat much.
i want this week to end soon and break free from stress week.
