Eating Clean for Weight Loss

Does anyone out there eat clean? I am thinking of starting this with my husband and was wondering if it really helps with weight loss? Of course for the health benefits also. Does anyone have any tips for us. This is something that I just heard about so if anyone can share ideas, recipes, website info, books, etc. Any and all info would be helpful. Also would be interested in knowing how you are doing with it. Have you been able to stick with it and for how long. I am planning on starting this next week after a trip to the grocery store. Can't wait to hear from everyone.

I eat simple food, like boiling chicken with tomatoes and potatoes for some time and then I eat it with naan. Is that considered as 'clean'? Oh by the way I am so clean myself, I wash my hands like 10 times in a day, and I wash everything I cook into, and I don't eat out of home.

Hi, yes the simple food you are eating is considered clean. Clean food is food that is not boxed or processed. All natural pretty much. It is good that you don;t eat out of the home. That is something I need to learn.

Yes, I do eat clean foods, not just for weight loss but for health benefits as well. I eat foods high in fibers, antioxidants and vitamin Bcomplex. I seldom eat meat. So my diet consists of fresh fruits, juices and whole wheat stuff. Drinking green tea with honey carries lots of benefits, it is the best cleansing agent plus it is loaded with antioxidants.

I've been over hauling my eating habit and yes i only eat unprocessed food since longanisa, hotdogs, burger patties, tocino are all high in calories and sodium. It does help in weight loss if you refrain from them but of course it would be better if you track your calorie intake. Ive been suggesting caloriecount because i use it myself.
