Are you a good listener all the time?

There are lot's of situation that some people are not in attention. I mean there is a situation that they didn't know what the sender telling us because we are distracting to the other people or our mind is absent. For me, when I feel good and the situation is interesting my mind and my senses is listen but when I'm not feeling well, I cannot listen very well and didn't know what the person said. In short absent minded.
ARE YOU A GOOD LISTENER ESPECIALLY IN YOUR COLLEGE DAYS?

No,I am not a good listener because it depends upon the topic that they are talking.Sometime talker may not be interesting that we can feel so boring.I am not a good listener.

If I am the speaker I'll try my best so that the people will get interest about my topic and that's what I've did during college day's. i have a report and instead of making cartolina or tarpaulin i used a Microsoft power point to give them a nice report and that's it my classmates listen very well because they are interested in my report. that's a trick to anyone that if you are the one who speak you used your common sense and think if the listener will get interested on it.

It depend up on the person.If the speaker tell the interesting topic then we naturally become a good listener but when I feel bore then I cant listen very well and I cant grape what they are talking about.

Yeah, that also the response of other members here. they only interest to listen if they feel that the speaker or the talker is very impressive and have tricks. that's also the case in the school. if the instructor is very strict and focused the lesson, lots of students didn't show that they listen very well.

In regular life I'm not that great of a listener depending on the situation and if I respect the person I'm talking to or not. Now in school I'm a very good listener even when the class is mega boring. Even though my mind is wondering almost through every class, I somehow retain almost exactly what the teacher has discussed and probably be able to repeat it again after a day or two.

that's a good example of a students. as a students we try our best to listen to the instructor so that during examination we are able to answer the questions very well.
Sometime we feel tired and boring but if you have an aim in life to finish studying without problem you can have to be a good listener.

No I'm not a good listener all the time. It depends upon the talker as well. Some talkers are really interesting and some are not and sometimes on which topic they are talking also matters so I'm not a good listener.

almost people are a good listener if the talker is very approachable and interesting. But, in that case even the talker is no good enough i still listen to them to show my respect.

Well, I'm the type of person to get distracted MAJORLY easily, so...my answer is simply "no". "No" because everything is so interesting to me, but I do try to listen. I keep my eyes focused on the talker always though, but sometimes my eyes "glaze" over because I get bored or distracted, and I zone out for a moment. I feel bad afterwords, hehe!:)

well, that's your choice in life. and if you are always doing that maybe you didn't worked it out. i mean you didn't receive the real message/ for example if you had a work and your superior have something to tell you and you didn't listen how's the exactly feeling's of your superior for didn't listen very well. Even if you didn't interest to listen, still you need to respect the people who talked.I'm fun with your answer.

yes i'm a very good listner it mostly depeneds on the topic n d person how they explain the topic
if the topic is boring i'll be absent minded n take a short nap in the class

I have always been a good listener. Even well I am not well I listen because it also helps to get my mind off my condition for a moment while being helpful to another person.
Listening allows you to hear what the person is not actually saying - reading between the lines. i love to listen and when I do most of the times I can give very sound advice which helps the person along the way.

i'm a good listener... and it depends on how that person is serious on our conversation... i have long attention span when it comes to a long conversation... whether in personal chatting, chatting through internet, chatting through mobile phone, or even writing a letter...i'm a good respondent and a good listener in many own little ways...people see me as a shock absorber, because i can help them solving their problem, hearing their stories again and again and hearing their memories whether it was a good or bad memories... i'm a good listener!

When ever some one give speech or say any thing I am listening very carefully and I always used to be attentive and I will respect the person who is speaking.I am the good listener because I am really interested in new thing or new people and their talks. I can catch the thing within short time .

No,I am not that much good listener.The good listener are very attentive in what ever he/she do.Sometime I think it depend upon whether the topic which the person spoke is important or not.If the topic is very interesting we will be a good listener sometime.

It depends upon the topic to be good listener or not.If the topic is good and very interesting than i feel like to listen without anybody's disturbance but if the topic is bored than i feel irritate and i hate listening.To be frank not always but sometimes i was not a good listener during my college days.

I'm a good listener generally. The only time I probably drift away is when the person talking to me is so draggy and takes so much time to get to the point. I'm sure I'm not the only one who experienced talking to someone who takes a looooong time in getting to his/her point.

Hi,
It is depend on who is giving out the speech/talk,which may determine
whether I am a good listener or not.
I can't attend those boring forum...feel sleepy and definitely I am not a
good listener.
However, when my friends are having some problems and need my ears, I will
be a good listener for them.
Being a good listener does not mean just keep quiet and listen to the comments,
it is best to give some responds back too,it may lead to better atmosphere.
