Long distance relationships or online dating.

I have a friend in egypt initially we met online one year.Now we are really good friends.But i also hear news sometimes like crime happening using various social networking websites.So do also have any good or bad exeriences like this?If you have then please share.

I dont have experience in online dating but i know its a pain. I have a friend who had a friend online, they fell in love and married but later she realised that he was already married. She had a shock of her life delaing with the situation. I dont want to have an online relation as i am married.I havnt thought of it till now.

ya friend i can understand it.Its really painful when we trust somebody and then he really breaks our trust.But we should not trust people by just chatting them with online.Its better to meet them first then probably start a relationship.

I experienced online dating and I am happy to say that I am one of those lucky ones who found true love and now happily married to an American ex-soldier for almost 3 years after a year of engagement which is long enough to know a person better. I know some friends as well who are now successfully married after years of dating online. I would say, finding a relationship in social networking sites and dating sites is a risk for you will be talking and meeting somebody you hardly know. Some may failed, some may succeed.
