Have your kids said something you never expected and it took you by surprise?
For instance, my son was in kindergarten last year and he had two teachers. After school one day while helping him with his homework we were talking about his teachers and I said, "which teacher is your favorite?" and he said, "Ms. Akin." and I said, "why?" and I expected him to say she gave him a sticker today, or she was nice, or something, but his reply was "because she was looking good today."
I was like what!?! lol...What is the funniest or most shocking thing your kid has said lately?

My daughter is only 2 yrs old and she is a constant surprise. She will watch TV with us (even soaps) and then suddenly will sing along the theme song. She does have a good memory and very witty with her answers. Kids are really amazing!

I don't have kids yet, but I have a nephew, my brother's son, and they live with us. He's only 3 years old and he started preschool. This Saturday, they went to the doctor to get a vaccine for H1N1. When they got home, he's showing off his bandage because of the vaccine. His nanny asked him, "What's that?" He replied, "Vaccine." "I don't have that vaccine", said the nanny. Then he asked, "Why? Because you don't have money?" We were like, laughing hard! I mean, he's only 3 and nobody tells him those kinds of things. And he just said it out of the blue.

That would be surprising to hear that, you will just realize oh seems he no longer a kid anymore. Anyways for my son his already 8 yrs old and we are also having our study time when we are talking about this one. I asked him what he learned in his school he said about understand tongue twister. I was surprised when he recited the tongue twister of understand. Then at he same time I am quite impressed because I myself could not even recite a simple tongue twister.
