What is the fastest car in the world?

I have seen lots of foreign cars, really fast ones too! But, I never gotten the chance to find out what car is the fastest in the world. Think there's a car faster than a Lambo, or Ferrari? I honestly don't know (not much of a car expert :P) can you help me out here? (It's alright if you don't know what car is really the fastest car in the world,opinions would help too :)

The vehicle fastness depends on who is driving it. In a Grand Prix, it is Michael Schumacker who first arrives at the fnishing line and he is driving a Ferrari.
