GoDzilla sequel?!

Does anybody know if there would be a sequel to the Godzilla movie?? If anyone can remember, one egg was hatched before the ending credits appears on the screen. At that time, everyone was sure there would be a sequel to that movie.

Yeah I know what you're talking about. Why have a cliff hanger like that if you aren't going to have a sequel? I was really looking forward to a sequel because I enjoyed the first one. I think t would be a good sequel if the baby one was running lose around the city, it would be harder to find because it's smaller, but still very dangerous. Would be cool! :)

The dinosaurs were only in the city for the end of the movie weren't they? And they could make it different...more creepy! hehe I think if it was done right it would be good.

Well for all you Godzilla fans there is good news. Announced in the last few days at comic-con was that production for the next movie would be imminent with an aim for release in 2012. If you visit IO9 (http://io9.com/5595709/new-godzilla-design) you will see the artwork for the next movie. Whether or not this will be a reboot or an actual sequel I'm not sure of.

WOW! That was like, 12 years ago. I researched on it and there should be a sequel last year or this year. But I don't think that will be the case. There are no news about it. So maybe we will just have to wait more. Or it will never happen.
