When was the last time you felt that you are lucky?

every sweet moment, when my brain triggers the diaphragm of my abdomen, to pull, and fill the lungs.. and, when my heart understands the stimulus, and beats a squeeze ... sending the impure blood into the lungs, that just filled with WONDERFULLY RICH oxygen air, .. every such moment, when the cycle of metabolism in my body works to smooth perfection, .. ...allowing me to do the JOB that I am entrusted with, .. having not to bother about MY BODY.. ... I FEEL LUCKY. HOW IS THAT?

maybe the last time that I felt that I am so lucky is when I was able to passed the Board Exam for Nurses last year. Maybe I felt that way because out of thousands of examiners who took it, I was one of the luckiest who was able to make it up to the end. It is the fruit of all my hardships and sacrifices. Also I always thought that I am so blessed and lucky enough to have the family that I have now. My parents, siblings, cousins, grandparents and even my aunts and uncles. They were all very supportive and cared about each other. But sometimes out of all that luck, there are still circumstances wherein you felt that you are one of those who are not that so luck. But maybe that what life is all about.

Luck? What the heck is that? I buy lottery tickets, I send in every publishers clearing mailing, I go to casinos, I play all the games where you can win in the internet...and nothing. Over and over again. Nothing. I tell ya...it if weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

I got a good job three years ago which I am in it now. I felt so blessed and was very proud of my self. I calculated the salaries I would get. I was so happy that I would get twice as much the pay of my last work. Then the following year I got promoted overtaking my co workers who were in the in the work for many years, some have more than ten years of expereince. Unfortunatley, the salaries were delayed for three years because the paper work at the head quarters were not done . I am still waiting for two years of salaries. I went so quick to count my eggs before they hatch. I learnt my lesson not to count my blessings when they are not here as yet.

Very long time ago...........

On June 30th of this year was one of many times in my life that I have felt blessed. That was the day I got an offer on my home. I couldn't believe it because of the housing market. I had been praying and hoping that I would get a buyer before the summer was up and it happened. I have been thanking God for this blessing ever since.

Hi, Lucky? So far I have tried my luck on buying lottery,but never strick,so no LUCK at all. The only lucky star I got is my posts were selected by Diaper company and being posted in their article. I got a freebies diapers from the company with some mystery gifts for my son. For your info, I have not been buying my son's diapers for more than 2 years, I got the free supplies from Drypers company(because my posts were seleected every 3 months).Happy !! Another happy and lucky thing is I used my husband 's name to join Maggi Gawai Contest every year. I have mailed out few envelopes last month and still waiting for the good news. Will my husband win this contest this year? We have joined the Maggi contest for 3 years now and for the past 2 years,we won the COnsolation prize,not bad. I just hope I will strike lottery one day,it definitely will be my most Lucky Day if it does happen. Wish me good luck!!

The last time that I felt lucky was yesterday because I was able to win a bidding off of ebay and that made me happy so hurray. I guess we all are lucky, but not everybody is always lucky. Hmm I wonder if lucky charms actually do work or not who knows. Maybe I might go in my yard today and look for a uh four leaf clover yeah those are lucky and I guess I will go rubb my brothers rabbits feet because rabbits feet are very lucky.

I think my best lucky was when I get my job in government office. Most of others have to do collusion and have to pay big amount of money in order to get the job. I was very-very lucky because I didn't spent a dime for that job. It was possible since there was scrutiny when selection held. No one could made collusion. I pass the test and accepted to be one off the staff in government office. If there was no scrutiny, I think I couldn't get the job. It was luck!

The last time I felt lucky was when I refused a job offer which was so temping with salary twice as I got now, with a single handsome Englishman for a boss, with a car as a bonus after I pass two months probation time which I was sure I would. Because after two months since the offer, the company stopped it's project and it is sourcing for funds, now.

Last year, when I went to US. When I got into the plane, I though that very few brazilians have been in a airplane going to US.

It was when I passed the final exam in Software engineering course. it really sucks

I actually always feel lucky... for living... breathing... its a gift that not everyone got, some people go to sleep at night and never wake up... so yes... I guess that everyday that I wake up and breath counts me as a lucky person, even when my plans not going on as I would've wish them to:)

hi ivygrey I am feeling so lucky lately as I am 84 but clear of mind just as well as when I was sixty while my poor roomie has lost her memory almost completely and relies on me to show her things she knew four weeks ago. I feel so bad for her too. A mind is too precious to waste and one needs to use it all the time to keep it functioning well. Between my using my computer a lot and doing puzzles and other creative things I also do journaling to as I love to write.

I really felt lucky the other day when I won 500 pesos ($10) in a lotto scratch card. I was almost out of money that time so I felt really lucky to receive that amount. I really feel lucky when I win in things like that.

Last time I felt lucky? Actually, I felt lucky the other day when I found a penny outside. I know it sounds so cliche, but beings though I live in Jamaica; finding US currency outside was rather strange. I picked it up, put it in my pocket, and went about my day. On my way to work, I stopped for a large cup of coffee and the guy working there charged me for a small. I didn't think it was really anything of much "fortune" but it did make my day a little better. Having luck doesn't necessarily mean winning the lottery, but a small advantage in the day is lucky to me :)
