Now that my son have started to watch T.V I have began browsing through old channels. My first stop was "Disney" I was shocked by the way 15 yr old girls are portrayed. Let's take for example "Wizards of waverly Place" Selena Gomes is wearing, high heels to shool, heavy make up and at times a very short skirt. Her friend Harper, is also wearing heavy make up. I was never allowed to wear heavy make up at 15, nevertheless, the shows in that era never show 15 year olds dress up at 30 year old women. It's has if kids are not having a childhood at all. This very sad. I'm not even going to go with "Hannah Montana" or jump into teen nick, this teens don't seem to have any restrictions from their parents at all.

I noticed that too, and if I have a young daughter I wouldn't let her watch those craps! Craps is all they are! I think Paris Hilton started the trend? I hate that b*tch! lol. I even know a 6 yo girl who said she wants to be like Paris Hilton when she grew up! Grrrrr! Oh I'm straying away from Disney, sorry. High School musical was such a hit on teen-agers and I think it's a crap too. Why can't they just make shows like SABRINA the teenage witch? And Kenan and Kel?

I agree the tv shows are not like they used to be. Back in the day when there was Blossom, Clarissa explains it all, Sabrina the teenage witch, pepper ann doug the shows were better.
