There are some points in our lives that sometimes we told ourselves to stand up on our own...mostly women in our society are very dependent with their man,and there are men that don't allow women to explore themselves,and for a woman sometimes it feel so boring staying at home, feeling lonely ,feeling useless for their selves, most specially if you are not contented with what you have and feeling unhappy in your situation.yes there are many things that can be done inside home, but we still need to feel self satisfaction and to stand up on our own will make us feel useful,independent.

It can be a difficult choice to stand up on your own. As hard as it may seem and as impossible as it may seem, there are just times you have to do it. Don't let other people put you down. If you know in your heart it is the right thing to do, you have to cast all your doubts aside and show the world your inner strength.

I believe that one of the main reasons women become dependent upon men is because of society's perception of gender role expectation. Many cultures expect and teach different gender roles. For example, women are taught to clean, cook, and to be nurturing. Men are taught to hunt, work, and to be logical. It is difficult for a woman to stand on her own when dependence on men is what she has learn since infancy. Today women are beginning to realize that they are capable of determining their destiny and are becoming more and more independent. I hope I live until the day that not only women realize they are equal to men, but also the day when men begin to accept women's equality.

I would love to stand up on my own. I do not wish to depend on my man or any man. Well, except my dad when I'm really really down because family is just different. But, working independently for my family, that would be totally different. The main idea is, you just want to contribute to the family so that you can help. Help the family grow financially. :D
