No! We won't die in 2012. Here's why:

all right, I think that 2012 is just as big a bunch of junk as the 2000 "bug" I don't think anyone can fully understand what the days were for, besides few, select, Maya who are long gone now and won't be back to explain it to us. I'm always glad to see some good sense around. Mind you, there are those who WANT the hysteria - but I say - if it really is ending in about a few years, why worry about lack of resources? (I'm not advocating that because I don't think its "The End of the World As We Know It.")

Here in Italy Fiat announced that we can buy one model of their cars now and start paying for it in 2012. You mean to say that it will not now be FREE?

that's quite interesting article. I enjoyed reading it. also very different explanation from those I've got to read so far. as far as the date itself goes, I never really was a believer and quite frankly I'm not really worried about it either, because as far as I remember it's not the first time scientists are predicting us the end of the world, it happened it the 2000's too and then there was this one theory that a metorite will crash with the arth and everything will go bonkers, so it's not the first time and definitely not the last time we're getting big bang theories, so all the people worrying about it, really, calm down. Life as we know it will still exist on 21/12/2012 you'll see when that day comes nothing reall significant that you could recognize as strange will happen.
