Do you bother to take the time to choose a best responce?

I usually let a week pass before the start of each discussion, before I choose a best response. Hense, why I don't start too many discussions haha. Just can't keep track. It also feels bloody damn good having your answer picked as the "best responce!"

In my opinion in choosing the best discussion we can choose every day the best response in our discussion and that would give opportunity to every one who participate daily in our discussion, because there are times when we already choose the best response there are others who share their thoughts better and we need to pass them the mark as a gratitude for their effort.

Definitely agree with that - "Gratitude for their effort"

There is no strict rule that we have to choose best response for our discussions. You can choose best response only if there is response that really satisfy and answer your questions. If you think there is no response that answer your question or solve your problem, you don't need to select best response. Mylot is not like question and answer site which the starter of question has to select the best answer for the question. I think I am not bothered to choose best response. My problem is difficult to choose the best response because most responses seem to be good and answer my discussions correctly.

I don't find it bothering. Actually I am careful to choose the best response because I regard it as a kind of appreciation to the people who responded to my discussions. I want to be fair. And besides, I don't have many new discussions, too. It is too difficult to think out a good topic:) So most of the time I just respond to others' discussions. I love China

Hi T_Diamond! I do. It's not easy though. But I'm happy to give one knowing the pleasure it would bring to the owner for his/her time, for a job done well and how much it has been appreciated. Like you said getting one makes me feel equally damn good. Waiting for some time to get a good pool of responses would make more sense and does not leave the 'latecomers' out. But sometimes I do get a response or two after the br has been given. I can see that they are just as happy to respond knowing that. I do appreciate as much.

Usually choosing a best response is not a work that takes time, it's a work that takes brain in fact. I always feel sorry when choosing a best response because it's quite unfair to other nice responders.

I try to wait for about 10 responses before doing this -as I have only been here a few weeks myself. And yes, it's good to have yours picked as a best response!
