Would You Change Jobs If You Could?

I know alot of people are happy with their current jobs but if you could change jobs would you? I would in a heart beat! My job used to be fun and I never minded going to work but now I'm lucky to have a good day anymore. So many things have changed and our store manager rarely comes in in a good mood anymore. When he does you never know from one second to the next what will happen. I know there is alot of stress on us all but most of our employees don't make enough to have to put up with this. I've been looking around and hopefully I'll find something that I won't dread having to go to everyday. What about you?

Normally I would say no. Because I already quit a job I was already working at to go back to this current. I took out a few weeks vacation here, so I could start a new job somewhere else and verify for myself if the grass is really greener on the other side. Sadly, it wasn't. But today has really been a trying day. It seems like all the bad things that could happen in this job, happened! It's like a perfect storm of some sort. And at days like these I would say I would like to change jobs.

I currently work a couple of nights a week as a waitress at my local Italian restaurant & I actually love my job...this is the first time I have ever waitressed as I'm normally in admin but I really love my job, I have great work mates & my bosses are pretty good too so at the moment, I would have to say that no, I wouldn't change jobs.

Definitely!! its a big YES for an answer to your question! I would change jobs if i could this very moment, in a blink of an eye - i wish! I have been in this work for like 2 years now and well, i feel there are so much more things that i should be doing out there. I feel like my work has become more of a burden - i am definitely not happy in here anymore, i feel i am in a cliff and nowhere to go. I have never felt so tired, so used, and so abused all at the same time, but it did happen with my current work. =( Everytime, it is just not the right thing to do, not the right words to say, its just not happening as i have expected it to be - no way close to a perfect job at all! My workmates are okay.. we are buds, friends.. but there is really something about the work itself, the workplace perhaps, and to add to that... i think i am just not the right person for this! i feel getting dumb and dumber everyday...

Hi, For me, I will only change a new job if I am having a good prospect or there is a job opportunity offer to me.Or else, I might just stick to my current job. I remembered well that my first job is kinda stress as I need to manage a full set accounts, and I myself is not from accouting line. You can see how stressful I am when come to year end. I need to close the yearly account, face the auditor and many other things need to be settled. That is the only time whereby I decided to give up this job after struggling for more than 2 years. But my boss is definitely treated me well. However, after full consideration, I decided to resign and look for another job which suited my field. At last, I got this bank job as customer service officer at call centre. New working environment for me and I liase with different level of people everyday. I just need to have a fluent english and mandarin,be polite and settle customers' issue on their banking accounts. Not an easy job too. It is not easy to find a job as young graduates are everywhere. So better change a new job,it is good to consider carefully whether it is worthy or not.

If I could get a job which perfectly fits me. I really would. But there are some things that we just can't choose from. Job is one of them. Not even the biggest people in the world totally love their jobs.

Yes I will If I were given a chance because Im not happy working with this company anymore. There are changes that really pissed me off because of some employees who are acting like bosses which are not. I used to enjoy my work here but not anymore. My friends already resigned so I dont have anyone to talk with now. I hope I could find another good job.

I would if I could. I have a physical job and I'm self employed..so if I could get something more guaranteed on a regular basis and maybe less physical-yay! I'd be happy to change.

My husband would love to quit his job, but unfortunately he can't. He has a horrible boss who only allows him to work three hours a day (even though he gets six hours of work dumped on him) and if he does not finish his work then he has to stay and finish (but will not get paid). He is on hourly pay and I did find out from the labor board that this is illegal. I am hoping that I can find a job and also start an online business where I can try to make enough for him to quit. The job is affecting his health as well and he is diabetic. His boss does not allow my husband to bring in water in the building while the others can bring in soda and coffee. My husband is a radio dj. I know that the equipment is expensive, but all my husband wants to do is bring a portable table to put into the office (away from the equipment) in case his blood sugar is low. I do not think this is unreasonable at all. I wish you the best of luck in finding something that will make you happy.

I dont know what to say. Because I like my current job though there is a job that I would love more, this would be being in business. If there would be an opportunity for me to have this job then I would grasp it, no matter what. But for now, I think I can stick to the job i like and just wait for the job i love.

I would if I could. I started working for this company almost six years ago. And I know all of the peon jobs backwards and forwards. I would've like to learn how to do a bid job. But, the boss won't let me do that. But, for me it's like the only reason I'm keeping the job is because of the paycheck and I need to pay my bills.

haw-haw,if i was you,i will change jobs in this bad situation right now .You know,i am planning to abdicate current job to look for a new one. The reason is as below: 1.The salary is too low to meet the increasing standard of living consumption but my boss is too grudge to meet my need of incerasing wage. 2.My company has a little material benefit for us? 3.There is no promot for me because of that this company only employ six girls. It is too small while my boss has no desire to enlarge scope of company. so mylotters,if you don't like u job,pls bravely to give a chance to look for a good new one for yourself.^^~~~good luck.

I would change my job if I could. but nowadays, it will be hard to leave a job. it will be so impractical to do so. But if given the right opportunity, I'd rather be working in a hospital or maybe, have my own business...or any job that pays a lot but at the same time, I can just go to work whenever i want to..lol..=)

If given the chance and opportunity. I would change my job if I am no longer happy. However, because of the current state of the economy where there are only a few jobs available, especially in my country, I cannot afford to change jobs. There are a lot of unemployed people in my country so I would stick to my job and usually companies here prefer to hire people who are fresh graduates, single, and between the ages of 23-30.

I actually left my job yesterday, it was at the cinema. I just couldn't bear being in that place anymore. The smell of wet popcorn everywhere, and cleaning that place in hours between 1am to 5am, with toxic stuff like Degriser, which if you touch it it will start eating your skin and flesh... it got spoiled on my friends leg, she needed to go through a small surgery after it... If she didn't wash her leg on time... I wonder what might have happened. Guess working at the cinema sounds much 'glorious' than it is in reality. So yes, I decided to change my job because I can, they wont make me working there if I don't want to. Remember people- A job which not satisfy your soul is not a good job, no matter how much money you make, because even after you will get the money the soul will be embittered.
