Your Not Allowed In Here

I am a bit aggravated but maybe more curious. I know that there are people from all over this world of ours, earning online. I know some know english more then others do. Well I've created a room before naming the first one "Private" and the other "your not allowed" However people still come in! Of course I know as humans we are a curious person, but well it's only decent if you say "Sorry" for coming in if you just HAVE to... but they seem to disappear as soon as I say "this room is private get out"... Now I can even understand if they run as well they were either A. Caught (if they meant to go in), or B. Really surprised at my reaction, or well even just dumbfounded and not realizing what it meant.
I had one person come in to the room marked "private" and I asked them "Do you know what private means?" anyone who understands english would figure that that is sarcasm and pretty much a way to say "GET OUT" but I had a person respond with a definition of it, and it took them a few minutes too so either they looked it up or they were doing something else.
So I have a question for people whose native language is not English, What do you think "private or "Your Not Allowed (yournotallowed) means? Would you go into a room marked that, even if you knew fully well what it meant? Would you feign ignorance and act like you hadn't a clue what it meant even if you did?
I just wanna understand why these people have done this.

Hello Somecowgirl. I'm English but I have something to say so I hope you don't mind me saying it. You said your remark "do you know what private means" was sarcasm then they gave a detailed description of what sarcasm means lol. Well maybe they were using sarcasm aswell and telling you they do know what it means but they're not leaving. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what it looks like to me :)

It crossed my mind that they too were being sarcastic when I asked what "private" means, and well while I admire their stubborness, I have powers at the site I mentioned and so even if they wanted to stay they couldn't...
I guees what really annoys me are people who don't speak english as their first language, but understand it very well and pretend they don't when it's convenient for them.

I see what you mean, they know perfectly well what you mean but they hide behind their first language. That can be hard to work out, impossible really.

I think people now days do pretty much what they want and alot of them do not feel that the rules are directed at them. I would be very direct too just as you were. A sign that says PRIVATE is just that. I would stand by my rules and make sure that people understood. And they are the ones being rude, not you. If they are going into a English area and they don't know the language they need to stay out.

The whole site is pretty much in english but people can create rooms for different languages etc. I mean I am a mod there and I have jumped down people's throats who popped into ask me a question, I feel bad but it's like I have the name of the chatroom listed in I hope plain english, and there's some that has even gone in after I've reprimanded others for going in.
The chatroom I crated today (as they disppear after inactivity" is called "Stay our or be kicked" and still someone went in.

If it was an honest mistake the person would have said sorry. I remember one time I was in a game site (ironically the one I met my husband in) and someone had entered the room. I had said "Sorry this is a Private room" the person had said oh I am so sorry that I entered in here. It was an honest mistake. He left immediately and by his tone I could tell that he was sincere.
I am sorry that someone had came in and bothered you. I am wondering if the person did not know what the word sacrasm meant. I am sure if it took the person a few minutes to look it up more than likely they were defining the word.

Yes there's just sometimes it happens by mistake and you can tell the person means it sincerely. Afterall a computer glitches, the mouse could gotta hung on the link what have you. Now I didn't actually tell them I was being sarcastic, so I think more then likely they just didn't understand enough English to know that it was sarcasm.
I've had several people barge in there and I've told one person to tell others NOT to go into a room marked as the two I described above, now I just have to contend with those who DO understand sarcasm and annoyances and just do it to be rude.
