nowadays, most people don't use the pedestrian crossing. they often go over anywhere they feel wanted.

In the city where I live we don't really have that many pedestrian crosswalks near our home. There really isn't much traffic so our kids haven't really seen many or go walking around here. Anyhow when we go to the city to visit my parents they live on a Blvd. I tell the kids it's important to use one over there because there is heavy traffic all the time.

i salute you sir/madam. it's a good practice for your kids. here in my country, pedxing (pedestrian crossing) are almost everywhere, but still people go over just about anywhere, and the policeman just ignore them. it's just too sad

Yes I do, that is if I am not in a hurry. In my city, policemen are not very strict specially with jaywalking, even if they already catch you on the act. tsk tsk. But I really do believe that they should begin to be strict so that people will be disciplined and will learn to follow rules.

Not always, but most of the time, yeah. I would say over 90 % of the time. Which is pretty good, I think!
