I think there is nothing to enjoy on 'Twitter'. I have been a member of this site. I think one uses it for promoting one ideas/write up or other such things and keep others updated about oneself.

That's right... And for that reason, it is more likely created for famous celebrities.

I have a twitter account since 1 year or more than that..I have my friends as my followers and we do post our tweets ..
I think u have not got the actual use of twitter..
U just follow your friends and ask your friends to follow you in twitter and it will be very good for you..
It won't look good if u just follow the world celebrities and icons and u have no friends to read your tweets..
Facebook is very expanded version...
Just tweets in twitter..I enjoy twitter along with my friends...

Why do you want everyone to know every move you make? Granted, I am not all into Twitter and know it inside and out, but for that sole reason...I don't really want everyone to know every move I make and then report it to all. Good grief, one would have no privacy.. on alone time, no "me" time. Your whole life is shared with tons of people. and since it only allows, what is it...44 characters... you can't "talk/tweet" that much so what's the point? I just don't get it.

@gunahohan - it's a good thing that you find Twitter useful for you. I see some people who do the same thing as you. Tweeting with their friends. But I think, Facebook is more convenient
@coffeebreak - lo. I don't have much bitterness towards Twitter. If it doesn't look that useful for us, perhaps others think it is. So, it's just fine for me... Besides, it's your choice...

I don't have enough time to go through all the applications which facebook provides(Most of my friends would use that applications and post it in the wall) , so i have to go through such things before getting the actual message of them....
Twitter allows only characters...Even if u want to share pictures or videos, u have to do it externally and post the link of the page..
Simple and Smart is twitter..
@Coffeebreak- i have no idea on what u are actually mentioning here..
If u don't want to expose yourself to your friends, then u should never go into facebook or myspace...
If u don't wanna tell your friends what are you upto, then there is no actual use of twitter or other social networking sites..
Social networking is meant for socializing with friends..
I hope u got my point !!!
I know how to live my life !!!

Compared to Facebook, I use Twitter a lot. I actually have 20+ accounts and I'm actively using them. Incidentally, I only have one Facebook account which I use only once a day.
For web programmers like me, Twitter is a very good complement to blogs/websites. It allows you to create backlinks to your blogs/websites and you can use one account per product, service or person. Twitter also is ideal for corporate sites because technically, the account may be considered transferable (i.e., it's not tied to a specific personality).

MAJOR WOW! I can't even manage 3 accounts in different sites that well. And you have 20 accounts in a single site!!! Wew! Well, I believe it is fine with people like you who are in business. Good luck!

I'm a Facebook user, too. And I've learned how to connect Twitter with Facebook. Sometimes, when I decide to update my Tweets, it will also be posted in Facebook. Which is I think is way too cool. Perhaps we are not really the kind of people for Twitter. though there were others who think it's useful for them. I respect that.

I also have an account in twitter, but I think the same thing that vos, I believe that this thought mas for the people that it is famous, or to report, him serves very much the journalists. Another thing that seems to me is that one this one in twitter and one never speaks with anybody, they order themselves the comments and nobody answers, goes actually I must be doing something bad, because I could never have communicated to the instant with another user.

I'm glad you're enjoying ti. That's the most important thing. Even if others like me can't find it very useful, it doesn't mean that it's not good at all... I may find it not amusing but I respect that it may be beneficial for others. Thank you for your comment! Enjoy mylotting and Twitting!

I think it is stupid. I would never do Twitter. And I don't understand why people do. Do you really want to have your personal life out there constantly? Do you really want everyone to know every move you make? Maybe for common folk, but when celebrities and such do it... they tell everyone every move they make, then get mad and hateful when their fans "get to close". Well, stop telling them where you are and what you are doing and they won't get so close! And since you can only use, was it 44 characters...can't say much there so words are ommited and when words are omitted.. so is the full story and then they all get mad when their "twitter" is misunderstood! I think Twitter is stupid and causes more problems than necessary. Kind of like texting.. again.. short message for a long story and OMG! when things get mixed up!

Exactly. That's why I didn't even bother making an account. Maybe when I become famous I will create one. But I know some people in facebook who uses FB as if it is tweeter. LOL. Posting everything they are doing! Oh and they are not famous at all!

LOL. I have almost a thousand friends in FB and I can really relate on that - there are people who uses FB as if it's a tweeter. Maybe they thought people are interested in what they're doing? Ha!

I don't even have a twitter, moreover I think that twitter is a waste of time and its idea is stupid... because you can just use facebook o your mobile.
And that brings me to the point of the fact that twitter is a total ripoff from facebook.

I also use Facebook... And you're right, it is way better than Twitter. It's just that some people use twitter just to be updated with what's happening to their favorite artists and such

I think you are right. I opened my twitter account six months back but I hardly used. It was not user friendly and I had a tough time understanding it. Of late many famous personalities use twitter and communicate with their fans around the world. Twitter is for them and not for us. Happy Mylotting.

Yeah... It's for people who wants other people to be updated of what they're doing. But maybe if you have lots of friends, it will be helpful to let them know what are you up to? but I wonder how others could be so interested with what's happening in your life if they've been following those who are way too famous people

Twitter is ok, but I have a hard time remembering to log in. It is only something that I use every blue moon. I feel like i am talking to myself when I use it. I would Rather stick to Facebook there is more personal interaction with friends and family there. I think it is great for famous because on the go, they can use their Blackberry's and give their fans updates.

I use Facebook to connect with friends and relatives as well. Especially those who lives thousands of miles away from me. It also helps me to reconnect with my long lost friends... And Twitter is just another waste of time, I think. But I've been using it now. And just like you, I feel like I'm only talking to myself. But I've learned now that you can connect you Twitter with Facebook. So when you tweet, it will also be posted on your wall in Facebook. Posting the same message for both sites at time is cool, I think.
