Does money make you happier than your friends and family?

So as I listened to a conversation between a friend and there dad about them not liking to work at the family business and that they were leaving once they passed there hair exam. The father responded back thats like cleaning windows basically referring to the job as a low income job. The response back to him was if our company vanished I would still have you, mom and our family. Thats all that makes me happy. I started to think about this and wondered how many people in this world is happier with money than having a great family and friends? Myself I love money and having the cash to do what I want to do but I would never choose money over my family, gf and friends. They were there before the money and they we will be there when the money is gone. Plus money can't cheer you up when you had a bad day or when you are all alone. So what about you?
