Even a elementary school kid uses the Google search,
And many feel the "Google=Internet."
Is this an addiction ???

Not really, it is just easier and more convenient, that is why we use it. That is like saying we are addicted to the toilet. Sure we can go outside and do our business in the bush or an outhouse, but the toilet is just much easier :D.
