alex01soriano, Just whereabouts in Thailand are you going? Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Chiangmai or you tell us. I am sure there are members from Thailand here to advise you or be your tour guide for a day. Anyway, let's hear it from you then.

alex01soriano, You will find that Bangkok being the capital of Thailand, is a cosmopolitan city. You can literally find everything in this city, Buddhist temples, River City sights and Shopping Malls. A city tour of one day will include visits to the Grand Palace, Floating Market, the Emerald Buddha temple, the Golden Buddha temple, the Reclining Buddha temple and the Four faced Buddha. You can also opt to visit the Jim Thompson Silk House whose owner Jim Thompson is still missing in the jungles to this day. Many hypotheses have been put forward to explain his disappearance, but what actually happened to him remains a mystery. For shopping there will be the Chatuchak Weekend Market (weekend only). Pratunam Market and Bo Bae Tower (clothing wholesale). Mah Boon Kong (MBK) Mall if you do not like open air markets where you can shop, hair do and eat all under one roof and it is fully air conditioned. Nightlife - you can take a walk down to Patpong the notorious red light district filled with sleazy pole dancing pubs. Just be careful of your wallets and unnecessary attention. There are also quite a number of nice pubs around Bangkok and you can always check with your hotel concierge. Dining - the varieties are never short you may want to try their famous Suki Steamboat or Seafood restaurants like International Seafood Market. There is also an eat all you can Japanese Buffet at Discovery Center called the Oishi which is really value for money. Last but not least do go for their famous Thai Traditional Massage which is really a great treat and rejuvenating experience. Let me assure you that there is no hanky panky here. Hope these will be enough for you to get by. If you need any further information just let me know.
