I am so confused over this. I just had two discussions deleted for attempting to promote my blog which is my money making site. Now reading through all these dicussion I see money making sites listed all over the place. What is the difference to those discussions and my discussions? Is there a right way to post my money making site? Will I get in trouble for simply saying click website listed on my profile?

I don't think your content was the reason the thread was deleted. It could have been another members placing a link in the thread that caused the deletion. Admin doesn't just delete the offending response, it deletes the entire thread.
That's the way they do things here...I remember one of the threads, and up until the time I responded, there was nothing in the thread that broke the TOS.
Don't take it as a knock against you... just know that you can't control what others do in the threads you start.

Creations..Whey you say thread, do you mean the entire discussion because MyLot does not delete the entire discussion because of one bad post to it. I'm confused.

I've received emails from my lot stating that the thread I responded to was entirely deleted. The person who started the thread didn't seem to break any of the rules of the TOS, so I assumed it was a response that was left later in the day.
It's only been recently that they sent out emails letting me know about this. It used to be I would log in and find I had fewer earning than I had the day before.

Admin Alice has told us MANY times that if a responses is a violation then ONLY that response will be deleted, not the whole discussion. If the entire discussion is removed then the inital topic was a violation itself right from the start.

Yes it is confusing as to why some posts get deleted. Some are clear as to why they get deleted others simply are not.

This site is confusing cos basically the admin pleases themselves who they delete I had a discussion going and had over 40 replies on it before they decided to boot it off verry petty as i could not see any fault in it but thats the way they do things here, if you want to promote your links drop me a line and i will tell you where you can without being in any violation.
