hi mylotters everytime I'm given a book to read I make sure that it is just for my spare time coz I'm not that bookish type of gal. I like reading but I find it boring in the long run even if the plot is good. I am more on interested with listening on how the story went than reading it myself. LOL

I used to hate reading but now i love it. Just pick out books that are really interesting. I personally love disturbing books like "The Painted Bird". I'm sure that eventually you'll come to love it. It streches your imagination and makes you think about many things.

Yes. I am a true bookworm. I love reading books. I can spend the whole day reading. If only I have the time. Sometimes on weekends, when I am staying home only, I get to read a novel. That is one of the simplest pleasures I enjoy most.

I love reading novels. I have a few collection at home which I'm sure I've already read at least two times. Aside from the actual books, I have eBooks which I read on my downtime at the office. There are just those novels which you just can't put down until its end.

hello, i love to read. i've learned so many things from books-how not to get scammed on ebay, how to do business taxes, how to weed out bad men, how to deal with in-laws, etc. that's just from reading non-fiction. from reading fiction, i've escaped into other historical eras, gained insight into how people think, developed empathy for people(many novelists write about the human condition), etc. besides reading is a great imaginary escape, especially if you read fiction.

In my opinion it's better to read the book than to hear spoilers and stuff. When you read a good book, you use your imagination to see how things happen and what the characters would look like.

I come from a family of readers. My mom used to read a lot, I believe my aunt did as well, and my grandmother. My great grandmother on my grandfather's side of the family loved to read as well as her shelves proved it. I do have my times (and sometimes they are lengthy) where I won't pick up a book, but other times I can't keep my hands off of them. Like now, I am reading Montana Sky and can't wait to read the other books I've gotten and read them fast as I want to get some more books soon.

I'm a huge bookworm for sure. I can't go anywhere without a book and whenever I have to sit and wait (on the train, before class, while a webpage is loading... ) I whip out my book and I read as much as I can. I typically finish 2-3 books every week and I never go a day without reading at least a little bit of a book. I've never thought it was boring and I never understood why people could think that. Reading really ignites the imagination and sends you on wild rides. You've got the words, but the visions are yours to create! Personally I never liked Audio Books. They always read too slow.

I love reading books. I don't sleep if I do not finish a good book. I like self help books, business and investments and christian books. I spend a lot of money buying books. I would rather buy books than clothes.

Yes, I am a bookworm. At one point I wasn't and hated reading. But there was incident that change my prospective on the subject of reading books. It was in school and I was to do a book report and I didn't. The look on the teacher's face was "I know that you weren't going to read the book" and that really affect me enough to rethink how people saw me. I soon discover that reading expose me to more than words on a pages and a story being told. It allowed me to see, that without reading, even if it was fantasy, romance or whatever other type of genre, that you learn something from it. Reading has at times don't receive the credit it should respectively have. Reading provides us with everything we need in life to the understand meanings and underline messages.
