I do, I finished it multiple times with different back stories and races. I prefer human noble and elven mage the most. You can find mods on the dragon age nexus site, there's quite a lot of them so it's definitely worth checking out. The DLC packs you need to buy if you want them legally.

I played dragon age, loved it. My favourite is a human rogue with the bard and the assassin prestige classes later in the game.
