First of all our only hope for change is God. That is already given. But to answer your question. If you're talking of the now; If not him, who else? If you won't believe nobody can believe it for you. I didn't vote for Him, but currently He is the president so I might as well believe in Him or at least give Him the benefit of the doubt. You see what keeps us is our belief in hope, that one day we will see a change will be for the good.

I kind of disagree with God being our hope for change. People are given the freedom to choose and to change. And whatever people choose, will have consequences and repercussions and God cannot intervene, unless of course He wants to end the reign of mankind and destroy the earth. And so it's always up to the people how they will change the course of things. But I do agree with what you said that we don't have a choice but to believe in him and pray that he will lead us to change for the better.

Lets just hope he is an instrument of change. He wont do it alone, it depends also on his advisers and the people around him that afects his decision.

Yes! Actually our country already changed. According to Pulse Asia 85% of the Filipino people believes in him. So that is already a change. And we have a new president so it is also a change. lol. But if you are referring to change in the economy for the better and the lives of the Filipinos to change for better because of Noynoy, I don't think so. I think 85% of the Filipino people will regret it after his term. But that is just my personal opinion. That's why this is called a discussion. =)

I agree with JAYMAR777 that we don't think we have a choice but to believe in him. It's why we chose him as our president right? Because we believe that he has what it takes to lead our country. But given his lineage and morals I think he will be doing what he promised. Well not like the state improvement brought by former presidents GMA and Marcos, but nation building which is what our country really needs right now because of loss of faith of the citizens to the government. I think he will bring that trust back. Let's just hope he won't bring to Malacanang his habit from the senate which was sleeping.
