It is always an overwhelming principle that athletes are weaker and weaker physically and go to the end of their careers finally.Maybe it sounds too realistic, but it is absolutely ture.Everyone is getting old and you needn't worry about it too much.Luckily precious memory that Raul has given us will last forever in our mind.Bless him good luck sincerely in the future in German.
PS I dislike Real Madrid more and more.I think this team is becoming more and more commercial and realistic.

yes.
I always believe that Rual will stay Madrid forever, but now he moves to Germany.
Even though I am not a fan of Real Madrid,I always think Rual is a good shooter.
Maldini and Costacurta can end their carrer life in Milan, and Giggs,Scholes...
Why will Rual and Guti leave now?

Because the chairman of Real Madrid is a businessman absolutely and he think Raul and Guti have not too much value any more..And the new coach(I believe you have known whom I am talking about)is very realistic also.I am sorry to see this fact.

i think it better for retire than to move to another country. his career at real so marvelous. if he move to smaller club, i think it wont be good for his career history. its better for him to retire now, before his shine really extinct.

Those who work in his loving area always want to extend the length of their career time as possible as they can. They don't want to admit the fact that they have been old and retire soon.I think I can understand him.

I think he has been an ideal professional. To spend 18 years at a single club is something that contemporary sports persons can look and learn from. Of course, he has won everything there is to be won with Real Madrid and so it has really been a rewarding career for him. He had an life long contract with Real Madrid which will allow him one additional year for every 30 games that he plays in a season and he had played 30 games last season. But being the proud professional that he is, he sees that he will not be used much in the next year and will not be in Jose Mourinho's plans, so has decided to move on!!
Congratulations to him on his wonderful career with Real and hope that he continues to have successes elsewhere.
Cheers!
Ram
