if you folks had seen it. Mckenna's Gold with Gregory Peck and Omar Shariff(lots of other old favorite actors and actresses too). They are all after gold and suddenly the canyon starts to fall in on them. Some pretty grand photography of the canyon. It has a young woman in it named Camilla Sparv who is the one I named my daughter after. I thought she was beautiful even all dusty and her hair ragged. Haha Yep, she still is. Have you seen it?

I agree. The only one that didn't seem to catch on was Tab. I don't think I have heard that one.

From your description no, I don't think I have seen this movie I will have to look it up to be sure though. Nope, I just checked it out and I haven't seen it. Camilla is a pretty name. I have never heard of the name Camilla Sparv so I had to search her name and image and I haven't seen anything that she has been in. Of course a lot of it was before my time..

She didn't do much in the movies. I thought it was pretty too and my husband had wanted a boy, ofcourse, so I wanted to use 'cam' in some way. I think this one and a Bond movie was about all she did.

Yes, McKenna's Gold is definitely a must see. I love the old vintage movies. If you are able you should check into Netflix. I use them and really like their site. I get movies quickly, they have good customer service, and a large stack to chose from. You should check them out and then let me know what you thought of the movie.

I haven't seen that one. I have just recently taken an interest in some older movies because of a class I am taking right now. I am interested in seeing some of the stuff that Tennessee Williams has written. I haven't watched anything yet but tonight I plan to watch Streetcar Named Desire.

Oh, yes! The version with Vivian Leigh is great. Did he write the Glass Minagerie? Not sure. But that one is good too. Katherine Hepburn. There is a christmas short story by O. Henry about a yound couple who sells each's prize possessions to buy the other something special for Christmas. Don't know what made me think of it and I can't recall its name. Such a good story. A gold watch and her hair.

I haven't seen it, but my mother saw it and told me about it.It's about one of the worst human qualities - greed, isn't it?I know the the ending isn't a happy one, but it has a lesson in it.Camilla is really attractive actress, she has that noble air in her face, a thing rarely seen these days.

Yes, rarely seen. I wish she had been more popular. I believe she was in a James Bond movie as well.

It is a good old movie with alot of the best character actors in it. Like the butler on The Adams Family as a Indian. And several others.

I saw it twice and enjoyed it each time. I loved Gregory peck,Telly Savalas,Omar Sherriff and the wonderful scenery. For a long time during my teen years this movie used to play frequently in cinema halls.I thought both the female leads including the Indian Woman were attractive.
