Hi there, I saw your profile and I am glad that you are from the Philippines because I know what advice to give you. You can have a debit card instead. You can get a debit card at BDO. Their ATM is already a debit card.

I am from the Phils too. By the way, I already linked my BDO account on my Paypal account, but still I was asked to verify it with a credit card account, so I entered my HSBC credit card. Will that be okay? I mean, will there be any problems that might happen with my credit card? I'm just worried that my credit card will be used without my consent.

Hi there. Sorry for the very late reply. I just got really busy. I still hope that this response would be useful to you though. Just use your debit card. Erase you HSBC credit card info. You dont need to answer the details for your credit card if you have already confirmed your BDO debit card. I think you only need to place the bank code. The bdo bank code is 010530667. Confirm you bdo account in you paypal. If it is confirmed paypal will get about P200 from your account but you can get that back later. Just follow the instructions

you dont need credit card for a pay pal account dear.its just that you need to verify your self by linking a bank account.I am sure that you have a bank account for sure.because for a person aged 25 it seems a normal thing.

if you are from the philippines, i suggest that you avail disposable credit cards. i have found a forum site that sells cheap virtual credit card for paypal verification. please visit http://www.symbianize.com/showthread.php?t=224531. i hope this will be helpful. many were helped by this site for free. also there are many links to solutions posted by my fellow symbianizers. but i had to tell you, this site is exclusive for filipinos only...

Try to visit Union bank and inquire about eon card, I think it cost 300+ pesos to open an account. Then you have to put at least 200+ pesos to connect your card to paypal. After a week paypal will return it to your account because they will simply check if the card is really active or not.
