I will quit my job if I feel there's no more room for any career advancement because of supervisory suppression. I believe that company is not the reason why employees quit, it's those who handle them that makes them go.

I did quit the job because of the people I worked with. Most people were sycophants and it was way to difficult for me to act in front of them. The only thing I am satisfied in work is the kind of working environment I have. I like working with people who are there to help you and support you. It creates a learning environment.

Hi ashton77,
True enough! Working with supportive and understanding people makes work feels like a game. :)

I think the most important thing that I have to include would be: 1) if I am really tired and depressed with my job that I dont really want to go there. 2) if it is already very stressful that it gives a risk to my health and 3)if my boss is sexually harassing me.

As far as i know, i think in this world its hard to get a job.once you get into the job,you should be very much dedicated with they work that you are doing. if you are happy with your job, then only your works will go well.If it is in my case,if i am not at all happy with my work, if i feel that some where i am lacking behind with my current work, thinks are not working out properly then i will give a second thought to it..if it still don't work out then i will quite the job..People in this world comes out with their own talent in their own field.if they are not good in one thing may be they will be good in other thing.the only thing is that we should never give up things in life.

If you're no longer happy doing what you're supposed to do and because of this you get stress related sickness, then I believe it's about time to leave. There's no point in pushing yourself, otherwise your work will suffer.

I will quit myjob only when some other company will offer more money than the current one. I will leave one only after getting job somewhere else, because I don't want to be unemployed for any time period. SO its better for you to search a new job before leaving your current job.

im a public school teacher and had been teaching grade I since i started teaching 5 years ago. first of all i didn't really wanna be a teacher but since my parents want me to be so i did. teaching is really a stable job. i have had my happy times. however, i always have sore throat and tonsillitis since teaching is quite a pressured job. right now, i wanna quit and find another job that would give me time for myself. im still single and i feel i that im not happy. sometimes we r called on saturdays or work late at night on our lesson plans. im our classrooms we r teachers, nurses, janitors, nanny, carpenters, dancers, singers. lots of things we do that sometimes i feel that im all used up and i wanna rest. for me happiness enjoyment of what we do is very important in our work. however, teaching is a stable and good job maybe im jst not for teaching. there is nothing wrong with the job, jst me. salary is important but happiness is also as important.

There are a lots of reason why an employee quits his/her own job. First is if the employee is not happy anymore with the job for a lot of reasons. Such as, relationship with the boss and co-employee, health condition, and the salary that you are earning doesn't compensate enough all your daily expenses. Second is that you want to be in a greener pasture, in a company where you think you will grow and work effectively as an employee. Third, if the stability of the company is strong or it will be bankrupt soon.

Hating my job would be a good enough reason to quit it, unless I had no chance with another job. If I won the lottery, maybe that would make me quit my job but with no job what do you do in life? You have to know the sour to taste the sweet.
