why do people kill others using name of religion?????

I would see this as a major problem. I also don't understand why someone has to love their religion so much they have to kill someone for it. Once we lose our humanity then the human race with no longer live. It would be better to just understand each other and learn about other religions to better ones knowledge and come to an understanding.

I think people with these kind of mentality are being blinded by what there false belief and wrong understanding on what is wriiten on books that where they rely on,the bible or quran for exampae,what we really need is a good leader with the best intentio.

Hi abj, I think you are right in saying that the true teachings of every religion is about peace. It just goes to show how far the we have all gotten away from the truth. You are right too in saying that it isn't just one religion, most have been involved for hundreds of years. Blessings.

hi abj because God gave us free moral agency when he taught us what we should do but he left us free to choose and bad stupid people choose the wrong things.They kill out of stupidity and vileness as they have turned their back on Gods teaching and chose to go the wrong path.Also some are so wrong headed that they think theirs is the only religion and they have to make us all accept that religion and they kill anyone who will not convert to their religion.these are the people we call terrorists. so sad and so awful.The whole purpose of religion to start with was kindness and unity notkilling but people will not accept that there can be many religions besides theirs. these p eople are the killers.

because this is the issue i have religion and most people.. they do this because they cant except the fact we all are different and have different belife. and they think everyone should think and belive what they belive. and when someone dont belive or think like them, its hate right off the bat. these people are first to judge others and treat other wrong. God dont want us to hate each other just because we have different belife or whatever reason. so with all this not excepting and dont want to learn, and not understanding they hate and wants to kill. to me if you have a different belife then i do, its not a big deal but as long you respect me as a person is what matter. and i dont belive in pushing off what i belive onto someone else, nor do i belive to tell you what you belive is wrong, if it works for you then its on you. but that is one issue with the whole world there is too much hate still. and one day God will stand up there and look down on all of us, and say yep its time to wipe them all out and start over once again..

Hi abj! I'm sure it tarnishes the good name of any religion. I would say it's the sentiments in us they are playing with to get support. Ultimately it's just an act of cowardice for personal agenda.

i also wonder why. most people say there's only one being defined by different religion. i find it so weird why they don't walk their talk. =(
