For a long time my favorite web browser has been Internet Explorer, but i have recently tried Opera which i now frequently use, and i had many discussions with my friend that keeps saying Mozilla Firefox is better, but i just don't see it, all the hype about Firefox, and the truth is it's nothing special, it doesn't have any new features or applications that put it ahead of all the other browsers, my friend also say it is very safe but i don't understand what he means by that since safety can only be given to you by an anti-virus, at least i thought so, what do you think about this?

I use internet explorer only when I have to,most of the time I use opera ,I like mouse gesture ,it's very convenience, but internet explorer didn't have this feature, your friend is right, the core of the browser is different, some kinds of Trojan horses can be spread through the browser.

I am using Internet Explorer, and I am quite happy with it. I do download the latest versions whenever they come up. I know there are other web browsers, just as good, but I have not tried them yet. I might try them in the future. For the present, IE is ok.

I have been an Opera user since early 2000. At that time it already had tabs, used less resources, faster , and more stable. Imagine having 20 open tabs while chatting on MIRC. Firefox received a lot of attention because it was free from the beginning. As a result they were said to be innovative and progressive. For example many Internet users attributed tabbed browsing to Firefox. With a sudden increase in the number of users it is not surprising that many web developers take Firefox into account. Firefox is the leader in innovation? Even the team admit that for Firefox 4 they are copying the ideaas already implemented in other browsers. Safe and secure? Every time I use Firefox for several hours during a certain period of the day my computer gets hijacked by another user from another part of the world. Most probably several Internet users have read all or part of the contents on my HDD. Add-ons? I prefer widgets on Opera because they do not latch on to the browser, thus keeping its speed at its optimum. For about one y ear Firefox was my default browser, but due to the issues related to it I have reverted back to Opera. I still use Firefox to see if thereare any real, positive development on it.
