I'm having some troubles with my laptop keyboard. What exactly is the problem ? My "1" key is missing, my "W" key is stuck and my "F4" key is barely working. I'm not worried to much about the F4 key but the "W" key is essential when writing articles and even playing games. Until I will get a new keyboard for my laptop I want to use a normal keyboard. The problem is that my laptop does not support PS/2 and I have a keyboard that has a PS/2 plug. Instead of buying a USB keyboard I want to know if there are any devices that convert PS /2 to USB so I can plug my keyboard.
Thanks in advance and if someone knows how much it costs please let me know.

hi geojb90, there are PS2 to USB converter available in the market. It might be easily available at your nearby computer hardware store.
If not, then ebay has got some of these converter. So, you can grab yourself a PS2 to USB converter from the ebay.
It would cost around U.S. $5-10 depending on the dealer(actual price, didn't include shipping). So, its really cheap. My friend grabbed one from a nearby computer shop for around Rs.150(i.e ~U.S. $3 ).
Have a good day...

Yes they do have them. You don't have to go to ebay as I am sure your local computer shop should have them or best buy as there are alot of people who have computers that still use the ps/2 connection over the usb. oh and if you don't like best buy then Newegg it. That would be the way I would do it as I dislike best buy

I don't know about that, I'm also afraid I won't find any because I hear a lot of people having trouble finding this kind of adaptor. It's easier to find USB to PS/2 rather then PS/2 to USB. Thanks for the info and I will check on some websites to see if I find this kind of adaptor.
